Meet the team

Alison

Alison has worked in the mortgage industry since 2006, initially as a mortgage administrator but then qualified as an advisor and has been advising customers on their mortgage requirements for the last 7 years.

It is a position she thoroughly enjoys and hopes to continue in for many years to come.

When Alison is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as enjoying the great outdoors and is a member of the National Trust and the RSPB.

Alison is also a keen dancer, having taken classes in salsa, tango, belly dancing and Flamenco.

Brian

Brian owned Wright Mortgage for over 20 years until it was acquired in December 2023 by James Carpenter and BB Mortgages.
During this time Brian’s role was not only Managing Director, but also Mortgage & Protection Consultant.

As Business Consultant, Brian will ensure a smooth transition from Wright Mortgage to BB Mortgages for all clients.
Away from work Brian likes to travel with his family and as a season ticket holder at Trent Bridge, he enjoys watching Notts and England play cricket home and away.

Brian has set himself a challenge to complete the 214 Wainwright walks in the Lake District. He is also a keen gardener and is looking forward to spending more time doing this.

Alex

Alex took his first step into the financial industry a decade ago with the migration into the mortgage & protection industry in 2017. He is experienced in arranging & offering comprehensive advice on mortgages and suitable protection policies whilst helping clients throughout their financial journey.

In his spare time he can usually be found walking his dog or helping out at the yard with his partner’s horse, visiting the Lake District, or finding any excuse to go to an event involving cars.

Eleanor

Eleanor started as an administrator in February 2017, before moving to advising. Alongside working in mortgages, Eleanor has also gained years of experience in banking and debt management

“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s your life in your years.”

Eleanor has two boys that take up a lot of her time but they all enjoy being outdoors and getting mucky – especially as Eleanor’s husband restores old tractors, so they can often be found on muddy farms! Eleanor also enjoys nights out with her friends, whether it be the comedy clubs or the local bars.
